Effective August 10, 2023

This Cardholder Rewards Terms of Use (this “Agreement”) contains important information about the way credit card rewards points (“Points”) offered in connection with use of the Rocket Visa Signature Card integrate with the Rocket Rewards Program (the “Program”). This Agreement is in addition to the Rocket Visa Signature Card Credit Card Cardholder Agreement, (“Cardholder Agreement”) and the Rocket Rewards Terms of Use (“Program Agreement”), which governs the Program.

By accepting and using the Rocket Visa Signature Card, you as the primary cardholder (“Cardholder”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by the Cardholder Agreement, the Program Agreement and this Agreement. If the Cardholder Agreement conflicts with this Agreement or the Program Agreement, then the Cardholder Agreement will govern except the Program Agreement will govern in any matter relating to the Program, other than the earning of Points by use of your Rocket Visa Signature Card. This Agreement governs the earning of Points by Cardholders in connection with spending on a Rocket Visa Signature Card. If this Agreement conflicts with the Program Agreement this Agreement shall govern with regards to Points earned as a Cardholder by use of the Rocket Visa Signature Card. Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this Agreement are defined in the Cardholder Agreement or the Program Agreement and apply to this Agreement.

Your Rocket Visa Signature Card is powered by Deserve and issued by Celtic Bank pursuant to the Cardholder Agreement; however, the Program is provided to you by Rock Central, LLC (“Rocket”) pursuant to the Program Agreement and this Agreement.

1. Eligibility and Enrollment

The Program is described in the Program Agreement. You may begin earning Points in connection with your Rocket Visa Signature Card upon account opening of the Rocket Visa Signature Card, and the ability to earn Points associated with said card is restricted to Cardholders in good standing (as defined by Rocket, Deserve and/or Celtic Bank, and may be modified from time to time). Rocket reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether you are eligible for enrollment or continued participation in the Program.  

2. Earning Cardholder Points

You may earn Cardholder Points (or “Points” herein) via your Rocket Visa Signature Card as a Cardholder only on qualifying purchases (e.g. card presentation for purchase or online purchase, but excluding Nonqualifying Purchases) and based on the award levels established by Rocket from time to time. Points will be earned only when such qualifying purchases are settled, which may be after your purchase date. Your Points are calculated in accordance with the below description and are earned on each qualifying purchase. Your Points accumulate based on your spend. Points become eligible for redemption after the close of the statement cycle in which they were earned, which will be no more than 1 calendar month from the transaction settlement date. Points are deemed a rebate of transaction purchase price.

You will not earn any Points on the following non-qualifying purchases (“Nonqualifying Purchase(s)”): credit or debit adjustments or use of any cash back rewards for statement credits, disputed charges, convenience checks, payments made for stored value cards such as gift cards and similar cards (including initial purchase and reloading), wire transfers, money transfers, foreign currency purchases, travelers checks and similar products that may be converted to cash such as money orders and certified checks, securities transactions, illegal transactions, casino gaming chips, race track wagers, lottery tickets or similar betting transactions, unauthorized or fraudulent transactions, all incidental charges and fees charged by Rocket and/or pursuant to your Cardholder Agreement (e.g., voluntary payment protection costs, finance and interest charges, returned check fees, service charges, over-limit fees, late fees, annual fees, ATM fees), or purchases made when your Rocket Visa Signature Card is not in good standing (as determined by Rocket, Deserve, or Celtic Bank from time to time). Rocket reserves the right to establish, in its sole discretion, whether a certain transaction is a qualifying or Nonqualifying Purchase from time to time. Purchases made through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, digital wallets or similar technology will not be eligible if the technology does not provide sufficient transaction details for rewards qualification. Rocket is not responsible for providing Points if the merchant does not provide sufficient transaction details for rewards qualification. Unauthorized transactions, including those made with a lost, stolen, canceled or fraudulent Rocket Visa Signature Card do not earn any Points and may be frozen or clawed back at Rocket’s sole discretion. You will not receive Points or be eligible to redeem your existing Points if your Rocket Visa Signature Card account is flagged as suspended, lost/stolen, over-limit, past due, voluntary closure, revoked, charged-off, the balance is discharged in bankruptcy, or otherwise not in good standing (as defined by Rocket, Deserve, or Celtic Bank from time to time). You will not be eligible to redeem your existing Points toward your mortgage balance unless your Rocket Visa Signature Card and your mortgage are associated with the same Rocket Account.

Points Earn Structure

• a. Earn: You earn 5 Points for every $1 spent on all qualifying purchases made using your Rocket Visa Signature Card.

• b. You are solely responsible for (i) verifying the accuracy and completeness of any Points calculated and applied, or not applied, by Rocket; and (ii) maintaining an account in good-standing. You must notify us of any Points errors within thirty (30) days of such information being made available to you. If you do not notify us of any errors within thirty (30) days, you will forfeit the right to contest the applicable transaction(s) Points eligibility, except to the extent such forfeiture is prohibited by applicable law.
  
  

‍3. Promotional Offers

From time to time, Rocket may send you promotional offers in addition to those Rewards stated herein (“Promotional Offers”). Each Promotional Offer will have separate terms and conditions detailing how to earn additional Rewards and any limitations therein. All other terms of the Program Agreement and this Agreement will apply to any Promotional Offers.

4. Additional Restrictions and Disputes

Points are not rights granted unto the Cardholder nor the property of the Cardholder, and cannot be bought, sold, attached, pledged, or transferred in any way and under any circumstance (including upon death or as part of a domestic relations matter). Any disputes regarding the Points earnings are not equivalent to, nor treated as, card billing disputes. Rocket decisions regarding Points disputes are final, and Rocket shall have no liability for any disagreements between itself and Cardholders regarding any Points or Rewards.

5. Suspension and Forfeiture of Points

‍Rocket retains the unrestricted right to suspend your right to earn Points at any time. Subject to applicable law, You may forfeit your Points immediately if (i) you are in default under the Cardholder Agreement or otherwise not in good standing (as defined by Rocket, Deserve, or Celtic Bank from time to time), (ii) Rocket determines that you have violated the terms of this Agreement or the Program Agreement, (iii) your participation in the Program is deemed fraudulent, or is in connection with any theft or other illegality, (iv) Rocket determines that your Points were as a result of manufactured spending, (v) your participation in the Program harms Rocket’s membership or other relationships it may maintain in order to provide the Program, or (vi) Rocket terminates or suspends your Rocket Visa Signature Card by for any reason. Rocket will not give you notice of forfeiture unless required by applicable law. You are not entitled to compensation from Rocket or any other entity when your Points or Rewards are suspended or forfeited for any reason, except to the extent such forfeiture is prohibited by applicable law.

6. Using Rewards

Points earned via your Rocket Visa Signature Card will be available for redemption no later than 1 month from the transaction settlement date and can be monitored from the Rewards Dashboard, Card Dashboard, and Rocket Money app. You may use your Points in accordance with the terms and conditions governing the Rewards Program. Any Points earned in relation to your Rocket Visa Signature Card will be shown as detailed herein; however, such Point information will not appear on your monthly billing statement(s).

Points’ cash value varies depending on use and is governed by the Program and current redemption options, which may be reviewed by logging into your Rocket Account, but is additionally described below, for convenience only:

• a. Points used towards statement credit are worth $0.0025 per point (or an overall equivalent 1.25% back on spend)

  • i. To the extent your Points are applied as a statement credit, the Points will only reduce your credit card principal balance, and will neither eliminate your obligation to make your minimum statement balance payment when due nor advance your next payment.
    
    

• b. Points used towards unpaid principal balance of an existing mortgage (“UPB”) serviced by Rocket Mortgage, LLC are worth $0.004 per point (or an overall equivalent 2% back on spend).

  • i. This redemption option is only available for retail Rocket mortgages. It is not available for mortgages that are not serviced by Rocket, Charles Schwab partner mortgages, Rocket Third Party Originated loans (“TPO” loans), assumed loans or Rocket loans provided through MaaS (“Mortgage as a Service”) partnerships.

  • ii. Rocket Mortgage may reserve the right to sell your servicing at any point, rendering this redemption option no longer valid. While Rocket Card will attempt to avoid this outcome for existing card users, in the event it does happen, Rocket Card will provide you notice of how that affects your redemption options upon receiving notice of the impending sale.  
    
    

• c. Points used towards a new mortgage transaction with Rocket Mortgage, LLC (excluding refinance) are worth $0.01 per Point (or an overall equivalent 5% back on spend) towards “Funds Required to Close” which can apply to down payment, fees, and closing costs. Points that can be used towards this redemption are capped at 800,000 Points, or a cash equivalent value of $8,000 per loan. Rocket may change this cap from time to time. If Points used towards this redemption (within the established cap) exceed “Funds Required to Close,” excess value will be delivered to the customer as part of the final mortgage transaction.

  • i. This redemption option is only available towards retail Rocket mortgages. It is not available towards mortgages that are Charles Schwab partner loans, Third Party Originated (“TPO” loans), or Rocket loans provided through MaaS (“Mortgage as a Service”) partnerships.
    
    

‍7. Authorized User Purchases
‍
An authorized user is someone who has been given a physical card linked to their primary cardholder’s account. Authorized users can usually make purchases with the credit card issued in their name, but do not have a unique account, agreement, or set of rights from the primary cardholder. Primary cardholders are responsible for making account payments and retain all rights and rewards associated with all Rocket Visa Signature Cards associated with their account and any authorized users attached thereto. Primary cardholders also remain responsible for all payment obligations associated with their Rocket Visa Signature Card Account and any authorized user cards attached thereto. 

When available, your Authorized User’s qualifying purchases earn Points on your account, as if such purchases were made by you.

8. No Rewards Expiration
‍
So long as your Rocket Visa Signature Card remains in good standing, your Points never expire. Rocket reserves the right to determine the method to disburse your Points balance.

9. Account Closure

In the event your Rocket Visa Signature Card is closed, we will be unable to award you any Points. This means, you will no longer be able to apply your rewards towards a loan balance credit or a statement credit on your Rocket Visa Signature Card. However, you may still redeem Points previously earned towards new mortgage redemption as described above in section 6(c) of this agreement.

10. Prohibited Use of the Program

Rocket reserves the unrestricted right, and in its sole discretion, to disqualify you from earning Points or from your continued participation in the Program in the event of fraud, abuse of Program or violation of the Program Agreement, this Agreement or the Cardholder Agreement.

11. Additional Program Details

From time to time, Rocket may make adjustments to your Points balance based on your purchasing activity. For example, Rocket may decrease your Points balance in the event of a purchase return or price adjustment, or in the event an error occurred in the amount of a Points disbursed by us. Future Points may be deducted to satisfy a negative Points balance, which may decrease the actual amount of Points received.

12. No Additional Warranties

Unless otherwise stated in your Cardholder Agreement, Rocket is not responsible for any claim you may have regarding the purchases of goods or services, and any corresponding Points thereto, made with your Rocket Visa Signature Card.

13. Termination

Rocket may terminate this Program or the option to earn Points in connection with the Rocket Visa Signature Card at any time, and for any reason whatsoever. In the event that the Program is terminated, Rocket will provide you timely notice, which will include a date (in the future) after which you will no longer be able to earn Points or Rewards, generally or in connection with the specific option terminated.

14. Income Taxes

You are responsible for determining any tax liability arising from your participation in the Program. Consult a tax advisor concerning any tax consequences.

15. Changes to the Program Agreement or Program

At any time, and in its sole discretion, Rocket may amend the Program Agreement or this Agreement and may change or limit any of the terms and conditions of the Program without notice to you, except where required to provide notice by applicable law in which cases Rocket will provide required notice. Such changes are effective immediately and applicable to the Cardholder on such effective date. Changes may include, but are not limited to, the amount of Points earned, the type and/or value of Points, the availability of Points, the general Rewards offerings, the expiration of Points, any fee or increase in fees associated with the Program or the Points, and the list of Points values. Your continued participation in the Program or receipt of Points does not grant you any vested rights, nor may you rely on the continued availability of the Program and/or Points. In the event of any Changes to the Program Agreement, this Agreement, or the Program, Rocket will post any such changes on its website and it is your responsibility to review the Cardholder Agreement, Program Agreement, and this Agreement for any such changes.
